Akka: A Closer Look

Akka: A Closer Look explores the theme of the female community and how females can feel accepted and rejected within this community. The purpose of this project is to use the embodied writing activity “Hieroglyphs” developed by Nancy Stark Smith, to create a duet with two female dancers depicting a journey through stages of trust, inquisition, and betrayal.
